Barry Poznick and John Stevens

Barry Poznick and John Stevens created ZOO Productions in 1994 after leaving their jobs at Telepictures to start their own independent production company. The company has since produced over 400 hours of original programming. Barry produced such big names as The Joan Rivers Show, Sally, and Mike & Maty before creating even bigger hits at Zoo. Stevens got his start at Late Night with David Letterman, Extra, and When Animals Attack.

ZOO quickly became one of the country’s premiere production companies for reality television with such smash hits as, Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader, Girls Behaving Badly, and Speeders. They also more recently created the Hub’s top show, Family Game Night. With programming seen in over 150 countries worldwide, it’s not surprising that Zoo was put in the top 50 of The Hollywood Reporter’s reality power list for 2011.
