Joseph Kurcz has been working with Williams-Hayward Paint Company for over 60 years. A true “American Dream” story, Joseph worked his way up from the bottom, literally, spending long hours sweeping floors and loading mills. After a little patience and tenacity, Joseph purchased the company after working there for 25 years. As acting president, he has taken Williams-Hayward Protective Coatings from $100,000 in annual sales to a now 30 million dollars annually. His advances in copper coatings and environmental safety are unmatched in the railroad and coating industry. Joseph also invented and patented the first environmentally safe zinc coating. He now serves as President of the Board and CEO.
