Lisa Lillien

With five best-selling cookbooks and a Hungry Girl TV show on the Cooking Channel, “Hungry Girl” creator Lisa Lillien has brought low-fat, flavorful cooking to kitchens around the world.

A former television executive and Internet producer, Lisa used her smarts and creativity to parlay her passion for food not only into a business, but also into a successful franchise. She left her job at Warner Bros Horizon in 2004 and launched Hungry-Girl.com out of her kitchen with just 70 subscribers. She has since turned 70 into one million by sticking to her mantra of keeping overhead low while making content quality high.

In addition to daily member e-mails, Hungry Girl material is featured regularly on Yahoo, WeightWatchers.com, Seventeen magazine, Redbook, People Style Watch, and on television shows such as Extra, The View and Rachael Ray. Aside from her TV, print, and Internet success, Hungry Girl-endorsed products can be found on the supermarket shelves across America.
